meet danaDana Oliver is committed to celebrating and amplifying Black women’s voices in the beauty industry.

 

She has over 15 years of experience as an editor, writer and on-camera talent, reporting on fashion and beauty news, writing trend features and producing expert-driven videos. In her tenure as Beauty Director at Yahoo, Dana launched their first-ever Diversity in Beauty Awards and hosted My Beauty, My Way, a video series where women of all different ages and backgrounds including award-winning actress and producer Tracee Ellis Ross, Carol’s Daughter founder Lisa Price and tennis star Sloane Stephens explained what beauty truly means to them.

 

Dana was most recently the Senior Director of Content and Communications at StyleSeat, the premier destination for discovering and booking beauty services and professionals. She oversaw brand vision, messaging and experience across multiple content marketing channels, including website, blog, social media and video. 

In 2019, Dana debuted her very own beauty, wellness and self-care blog called Beauty for Breakfast, where she shares her honest and thought-provoking reflections as a plant-based mom who inspects cosmetic labels more carefully.
